Summary: From the outcome of the self assessment surveys, my biggest strengths would be being able to work productively and using effective study and work habits to be able to solve issues that I'm presented with. My weaknesses usually tend to be not clarifying in my head whether I'm meeting my goals, if the reading is related to what I know, etc.

Course Benchmark Goals:

1) What is it that you hope to know and be able to do at the conclusion of the class?

My biggest interest in taking this class is learning about new composers and their works in the modern era.

2) What are three things you would like to achieve in order to count your semester as successful?

Enjoy the course, have a high grade, and learn about new interesting things in the modern era.

3) How motivated are you to achieve these goals?

The course seems very interesting and engaging so I would say I am pretty motivated with it.

4) How will you increase your motivation if it becomes low during the course of the semester?

As long as I am occupied with work throughout the semester its near impossible for me to be demotivated.

5) What strategies can you use to achieve your goals?

Work productively, don't rush through material, and complete assignments on time.

6) What might interfere with your achievement and how can you prevent this interference?

Not having motivation would make it harder for me to complete the course, but that won't be a problem.
